		<description>I'm not sure orthodox Christianity would agree that Christianity is ultimately about transcendence.  Further, Christianity makes some claims to exclusivity that at some point would directly contradict some of transhumanism.
 
The larger point I would want to make is that transhumanism's view of humanity, of what it means to be human, stands quite separate from the Judeo-Christian view of human dignity, rooted in the &lt;i&gt;Imago Dei&lt;/i&gt;.
